Making Your Morning Routine, YOURS

I will be the first to admit, I love watching morning routines on Youtube, I find them to be soothing. They also give me ideas on different things I can add to my mornings. But I would be lying if I said my morning routines are consistent, in fact, sometimes the routine doesn't even happen. Which leads me to think if one person can have more than one routine? The answer is yes because I have several depending on the day I have ahead of me. As compared to days when I have to rush out of the door, I love a slow morning because I will take the time to relax and slowly get ready for the day by doing whatever feels right at that moment.

Different elements to add to your morning

  • Listen to a podcast/sermon

  • Meditate

  • Journal

  • Eat Nutritious Breakfast at Home

  • Drink Tea, Coffee, Smoothie

  • Exercise/yoga

  • Read

You don't need to fit in time for the gym, yoga, journaling, reading, a fancy morning drink, and mediation every single morning. Sometimes it is forgoing a routine altogether and just staying in bed. Because your mornings should serve you, it's okay if they look different every day.
